Oberon Council

Oberon is not your average small rural country town.

It has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the state and shows a healthy rate of growth and activity in economic cultural, social and recreational development.

Oberon’s proximity to the world heritage listed Jenolan Caves and greater Blue Mountains national parks system also contributes to the continuing growth of the area.

The Oberon Council recognises the importance of supporting the community by facilitating the maintenance of this rate of growth wherever possible.
