Over the years some people have found it impossible to completely leave Jenolan.
'It is as if Jenolan has a hold of their souls, so strong that even in death their spirit returns. It is the spirits of these people who love the caves and cannot bear to be parted with them, that possibly we meet at Jenolan.'
The 2 hour Myths, Legends and Ghosts tour may start with Caves House and take you through any of various caves. There are so many stories of ghostly sightings and strange occurrences at Jenolan Caves, that they could not possibly be listed here. You could hear about Miss Chisholm who has made her presence known in the dining room of Caves House or Mrs Birch, a ghost every mother would like to have around.
On this tour, expect some spine-tingling sensations... Overwhelmingly popular with grownups, this tour runs every Saturday night from 8.00 to 10.00, so it isn't really suitable for young children.
Bookings are essential and we take a maximum of 20 on each tour.
Why not have dinner at Caves House first? Make sure you book dinner for 6.00pm, to be finished in time for the tour.
