Your own private sitting room is stocked with good books and magazines and the lounges are made to relax in.

Fresh local produce is featured at RoosterHill whenever available. Wonderful local organic bacon and ham, fresh local eggs, RoosterHill honey & raspberry jam and local marmalade, locally roasted coffee and fresh fruit in season will set you up for the day.

RoosterHill is 10 minutes from Oberon, only 40 minutes from Jenolan Caves and is surrounded by charming villages such as Tarana, Hampton, O’Connell, Black Springs and wonderful pine forests full of mushrooms and blackberries (in season) and black truffles right at Lowes Mount Truffiere. Mountain biking in World Heritage national parks and local trails is becoming very popular - trail maps are available at the Oberon Visitor Information Centre (voted best centre in NSW in 2009). You can visit famous local sights such as the Jenolan and Wombeyan Caves, walk Kanangra Walls, visit Mayfield Garden in season or follow some famous local trails and discover for yourself the beauty of this very cool tablelands country. Oberon is at the center of The Tablelands Way experience and is only 3 hours from Canberra (and Sydney), two hours from the wine & food areas of Mudgee and Orange and half an hour from Bathurst.
How To Get Here..
Oberon is at the center of The Tablelands Way experience and is only 3 hours from Canberra (and Sydney), two hours from the wine & food areas of Mudgee and Orange and half an hour from Bathurst. From Sydney, follow the Great Western Highway to Hartley and just after the speed camera turn left onto Jenolan Caves Road. Follow this road past the village of Hampton and turn right at Millionth Acre onto Duckmaloi Road. In the township of Oberon turn right at the Caltex garage into North Street which in turn becomes Lowes Mount Road. RoosterHill Guesthouse is about 9 km from the Caltex garage on the right hand side of Lowes Mount Road directly opposite the 'steep decent' sign.
