Sunsets at Oberon is just 20 minutes away from the world famous Jenolan Caves, considered some of the oldest and finest caves in the world, as well as the Abercrombie and Wombeyan Caves that are not far away! For those who love a fine game of golf, the 2nd fairway is just on the other side of our fence. Be sure to bring your clubs and play the picturesque 18-hole Oberon Golf Course on the foreshores of Lake Oberon. If angling is what you are looking for, walk through the beautiful fairways down to the lake and enjoy a day of fishing or bring your mountain bike and discover some of Oberon’s wonderful bike tracks and Rail Trails (detailed maps are available.) If you seek an adventure on foot, a day of bushwalking on Kanangra Walls, it’s a must. Consider a visit to Sunsets at Oberon in the winter time, it’s beautiful and exhilarating. Snuggle in front of the wood fire or venture out for a walk in the snow. In the warmer months cherish lazy days on the deck swing overlooking the Golf Course and Lake Oberon or leave your car behind and stroll in to town.

How To Get Here..

From Sydney, take the M4 Motorway travelling west through the spectacular Blue Mountains, including Katoomba and Mt. Victoria on the Great Western Highway. Shortly after descending down Victoria Pass and driving through the village of Hartley, turn left onto the Oberon and Jenolan Caves turnoff. This road passes through Hampton. Then 3 km after Hampton, turn right onto Duckmaloi Road and continue into Oberon. From Canberra take Federal Highway travelling north to Goulburn turn at Union Street (follow The Tablelands Way) travelling through Taralga, Porters Retreat, Black Springs into Oberon The trip offers spectacular scenery on an all sealed road that can be completed comfortably in 2½ - 3 hours from Sydney or Canberra.
