Macquarie Homestead Farmstay

Macquarie was William Lawson's reward for crossing the Blue Mountains in 1813.

Macquarie is one of the largest rural properties in the Bathurst/Oberon district and apart from cropping of Lucerne and oats, it carries several thousand head of sheep and several hundred head of cattle.

The Shearer's Quarters contain three bedrooms and comfortably sleep five (1 queen 3 singles) all with electric blankets, doonas and linen supplied.
