Tarana Art Prize

Every day until Mon 02 Oct 2017
Art Lovers will be drawn to Tarana...

This year’s Tarana Art Prize will be a destination event for artists and art lovers. With a tempting list of prizes and awards, creative people from across the region will be drawn to the idyllic town of Tarana.

All proceeds will be directed to the Moo (Muriel) Stevens Trust, a local charity that directly helps the Tarana community.

A range of categories will ensure that artists of all ages and skill levels will be able to enter and compete. As well as a General Section, there is a Local Legends and Natural Wonders, sculpture, a photography and Mini Moo prize, which is especially for under -18 entrants

The hugely popular Taranarchies Portrait Prize will be a major drawcard this year.

Entries will be hung and displayed in and around the Tarana Hotel and The Universal Eatery café. The exhibition will open on Friday September 29, and will run across the long weekend until Monday October 2.

Last year’s winner of the People’s Choice Award, Ross Roorda will be the exhibition’s guest artist.

Any interested artists are invited to find the Tarana Art Prize Facebook page for entry details or contact Karen Moyes on 0411234362.
